St. Mary School is part of the Westlock ward of Evergreen Catholic Separate Regional Division No. 2; an ECS to Grade Twelve School that serves approximately 340 students from the Town of Westlock and surrounding areas. The educational program at the elementary school level includes all of the required core courses, plus oral French for grades four through six.

The junior high school program includes all required core courses, plus a number of complementary courses such as music, religious studies, French as a Second Language, and career and technology studies (CTS).

The high school program consists of courses at the 10-20-30 levels, as well as courses at the 13-23-33 and the 14-24 levels. Students also have opportunity to take complementary courses such as French as a Second Language, physical education, law, CTS, career and life management (CALM), religious studies and music/band.

Besides offering an excellent academic program, St. Mary School features a strong extra -curricular program. St. Mary's teams have enjoyed successful records volleyball, basketball, and golf at local and provincial competitions. The St. Mary band program includes both junior high and high school bands that have won numerous competitions at the local, provincial, and national levels.
