Pembina Hills Regional Division No.7 covers a significant portion of north central Alberta. Our regional office is located in Barrhead and the division extends to Swan Hills in the northwest, Chisholm in the northeast, Meadowview in the southwest, and Vimy in the southeast.

While our geographic boundaries are large, our influence on the provincial education scene is even larger due to our distance education school. The Alberta Distance Learning Centre is located in Barrhead with satellites in Edmonton, Calgary, and Lethbridge. ADLC serves students across the province, as well as nationally and internationally.

We have 19 community schools that serve over 4300 students. We provide French Immersion programs in 4 of our schools, programming for gifted students and those with special needs and offer a full range of Career and Technology courses to further prepare our students for the world of work.

Pembina Hills' schools offer smaller class sizes, a comprehensive academic program, and a wide variety of athletic and option courses. Our motto is "Together We Learn" our schools offer students a warm and supportive environment that facilitates learning.
