Workplace Health and Safety Excellence in Barrhead

PollardBanknotePollard Banknote of Barrhead was recently awarded an Alberta Workplace Health and Safety Award by the Occupational Health and Safety Council, together with Work Safe Alberta.

Pollard Banknote, a lottery products and services company and 2007 GROWTH Alberta Business Excellence Award Winner, was awarded the first ever Performance Improvement Award for the Manufacturing and Processing Sector. The award is presented to an organization that has dramatically improved its health and safety program and significantly reduced workplace injuries and illnesses.

Applications for the 2011 Awards will be posted on the OH&S website by September 2, 2010.
